Show Your Support to DEQ by July 12!

The Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ) has issued draft air and water quality permits for the project. These draft permits find that Morrow Pacific meets Oregon’s strict environmental standards.

The public comment period is now open – and it’s essential for DEQ to hear from supporters like you. Even if you submitted a comment at previous hearings, it’s essential that you show your support again now. Submit a comment to DEQ by filling out the form below. Or write your own, and help bring jobs and economic opportunity to Oregon.

Ambre Energy’s Morrow Pacific project demonstrates that economic opportunity and a healthy environment can go hand in hand. 

Oregon has very strict air and water quality standards that DEQ properly applied to the Morrow Pacific project. The DEQ decision to issue these draft permits demonstrates that Morrow Pacific meets Oregon’s standards. It should not be denied permits because of political opinions outside the scope of the permit review process. 

Morrow Pacific will create jobs, support schools and bring much needed economic opportunity while protecting the environment. For these reasons, I urge you to issue the final air and water quality permits for Morrow Pacific.
